It's a new year and we are kicking things off right, raising awareness about Postpartum Cervical Cancer prevention.
Right now you being so close to the delivery of your baby, you may be highly aware of your cervix...
There are plenty of ways to protect yourself and prevent cervical cancer and we are here to let you know what they are.

What is the Cervix?
The cervix is the opening of the uterus. The opening grows during labor and its what nurses are measuring when they say "You are at 10 cm."
Stretching of the cervix is what causes labor pains.
Cervical cancer is preventable
If you are breastfeeding then you have already started preventing cervical cancer.
Eating lots of fruits and vegetables also protects you and your cervix for the future too.
Women beat cancer all the time, but why take chances. Ask your doctor to tell you about how to reduce the risk of cancer happening to you.
